Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and askflag ("askflag", "we") for using askflag.com and flagask.com (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
1. Who can use askflag
- You must be 18 or older and able to make a binding agreement where you live.
- One account per person. The contact you verify (WhatsApp, Telegram or phone number) must be yours.
- If you sell goods or services as a business, you must say so, and you must follow the consumer, tax and licensing laws that apply to you and to your customers.
2. How askflag works
- Anyone can post what they are looking for or what they are offering. Posting is free.
- Others send private offers. Only the poster sees them.
- When the poster picks an offer, both people see each other's verified contact, and the deal happens directly between them.
- askflag is not a party to any deal. We do not own, check, hold, deliver or pay for anything traded, we do not hold money, and we do not guarantee any item, service, price, payment, identity or outcome. You deal with other users at your own risk and under the law that applies between you.
3. Coins, views and VIP
- Coins, views and VIP days are a limited, personal licence to use features of the service. They are not money, have no cash value, cannot be sold, transferred, exchanged or withdrawn, and are not property.
- The price of every action is shown in the app before you spend. Coins spent are used up, except where the app says they come back (for example, when a post closes without anyone being picked).
- Free coins (such as welcome or referral coins) and earned views may expire as shown in the app. Views you hold do not expire while your account exists.
- We may change prices for the future. A change never takes away coins or views you already hold.
- When an account is deleted, or closed for a serious breach of these terms, its coins, views and VIP days end. See the refund policy for unused coins you bought.
4. Payments
Purchases are processed by Stripe, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record) for them and handles payment, applicable taxes and payment disputes. Stripe's own terms and privacy notice apply to the payment. We never see or store your full card details.
5. What you may not post, offer or do
- Anything illegal where you or the other person are, or that needs a licence you do not have.
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives; drugs, drug equipment, prescription medicines; alcohol or tobacco where their sale is restricted.
- Sexual content or services; anything that sexualises or endangers a child.
- Stolen, counterfeit or recalled goods; protected wildlife; any animal whose sale is not allowed where you are.
- Human organs or remains; identity documents; personal data; accounts, passwords or codes.
- Gambling, lotteries, pyramid or investment schemes, loans, crypto offers, or jobs that ask for payment first.
- Hate, harassment, threats, violence, discrimination, impersonation, spam, duplicate or misleading posts.
- Phone numbers, usernames, links or other contact details inside posts or offers. Contacts are shared only after a pick.
- Getting around the rules, the prices or the limits of the service, or using bots, scrapers or many accounts.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post. You give askflag a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, show, resize, translate (when someone asks for a translation) and promote it on askflag and in search engines for as long as it is on the service. A closed post stays visible until you delete it. You are responsible for what you post and must have the right to post it.
7. Moderation, reports and bans
- Posts, offers and pictures are checked automatically, including by AI, for banned items and contact details. A check can block or remove content.
- Anyone can report a post; a poster can report the offers they receive. We review reports and may remove content, limit features or close accounts. A report that turns out true earns views.
- When we remove your content or limit your account we tell you why. You can ask for a human review by writing to support@askflag.com.
8. Staying safe
Meet in public places, check items before paying, never pay a deposit to someone you do not know, and never share a verification code. askflag will never ask you for a code or a password.
9. Liability
The service is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, askflag is not liable for deals between users, for what users post or do, or for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD 50. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Me, then Delete my account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, or to protect other users.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. We will tell you in the app before an important change takes effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can delete your account.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the country where askflag's operator is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in the courts there. Please write to us first; most problems can be solved quickly.
